Fixed Deposit Tracker ("the App") is developed and published by Pinclave ("we", "us", "our"). This policy explains how the App handles your information. The short version: we do not collect, transmit, or store your personal data on our servers — everything you enter stays on your device.
1. Information we collect
We collect nothing. No accounts, no sign-in, no analytics, no advertising, no tracking. Bank names, account numbers, amounts, rates, dates, notes, and RM contacts are stored only locally on your device and are never sent to us or any third party.
2. How your data is stored and protected
Your data lives in a local database on your device:
- On Android, it is encrypted with SQLCipher, with the key held in the Android Keystore.
- On iOS, it is protected by the system's Data Protection.
You can add an optional in-app lock using biometrics and/or a PIN. When set, the PIN is stored only as a hardware-protected, salted hash — never in plain text.
3. Network use
The App is designed to work fully offline. The only network activity is subscription billing, which is handled entirely by the Apple App Store and Google Play. We do not receive or store your name, card details, or billing address.

4. Notifications
Reminders are local notifications scheduled on-device. They contain generic text only — no bank name or amount — and are never sent through any server.
5. Sharing and other apps
Calling a contact, sending an SMS or email, or sharing a rate-request hands off to your device's own apps. Those actions are governed by the privacy policies of those apps, and we don't see that content.
6. Data export and backup
Any export or backup file is created on your device and stays under your control; we don't receive a copy. If you enable optional cloud backup, the file is encrypted on-device before it leaves your phone and is stored in your own cloud account.
7. Children's privacy
The App is not directed to children, and it collects nothing from anyone.
8. Your choices and rights
We hold none of your data. You can remove everything by clearing the App's data or uninstalling it. This is irreversible unless you made a backup first.
9. Changes to this policy
We may update this policy from time to time. Material changes will be reflected by the "Last updated" date above.
